DTF printer
DFT printers from Azonprinter are special printers that have been developed for direct printing on flexible materials such as textiles, leather and other surfaces. DTF stands for "Direct-to-Film", a printing technique in which gel inks are applied to a carrier film using a special type of inkjet printer. A subsequent transfer step allows these prints to be transferred from the film to the respective base material in a permanent and color-intensive manner.
The advantage of technology:
- With the exception of the printing itself, all development and design work can be prepared purely digitally
- Suitable for POD (Print-On-Demand) from quantity 1
- Work such as weeding for flex films or set-up costs such as for screen printing (screen creation) are eliminated
- No pretreatment necessary as with DTG (pretreatment (surface treatment) and white primer (underbase) for color luminosity)
- Produces extremely stretchable and durable prints (stretchability, wash resistance)
- Suitable for a wide range of applications with high print quality and high print resolution
